The Last #jeansdujour... Which look with plus size jeans did you like the best?

This is the very last #jeansdujour post! It went by so quickly. I have really loved giving you all the inside scoop on Addition Elle's collection of jeans for curvy women. I tried a bit of everything; skinny jeans, bootcut, wild colours, even snake print! What was your favourite plus size denim look from the campaign?

This was my favourite look. I really love the shade of blue in these jeans! Out of all the jeans I tried from Addition Elle, my personal faves were  the Sixty-Nine Denim jeans, the MXM skinny jeans, and the Second Denim Yoga Jeans. You should definitely go try these on!

Many thanks to Addition Elle! It was so fun to work on this with them, and I am really excited about their new designer denim and the coming holiday styles! It seems like a whole new Addition Elle, and I'm really pumped about it! Can't wait to see what's next. =D

The navabi 2012 Curvy Blog Award

Hey Guys!

I have a really big favour to ask of all of you! navabi, this really awesome website that offers the most amazing plus size designer fashion, is hosting the very first Curvy Blog Award. The grand prize is a trip for two to London Fashion Week in February 2013, a meet-and-greet with one of my all-time favourite designers, Anna Scholz, and 500 euros to spend on navabi's website for a beautiful designer dress. Needless to say, the stakes are super high, and I really, really, really need to win this one!!! I would love to cover this event, and attend London's first ever Plus Size Fashion Weekend (where I can also provide you all with great coverage and maybe make some new UK designer contacts for my new store, Your Big Sister's Closet (and you all know how great UK fashion is - they're always at least a season or two ahead of us in trends!).

I really need to win this one for my hubby, Peter. Peter and I met when we were both still in high school, and we've been through so much together. He went to work to help put me through University, and he has been working hard ever since. I've travelled a few places as a part of my studies (with him always providing the financial support necessary for me to go) but he himself has never had the opportunity to travel at all outside North America. After all he's done for me, I really want to win this one for us so I can show him all the amazing things I was able to see in Europe as a result of all his hard work. He really deserves it, and I am going to do absolutely everything I can to get us there. That's where you guys come in! PLEASE VOTE. #jeansdujour - A Girls' Night Out wearing Addition Elle Skinny Jeans!

Hey Guys!

It's #jeansdujour time again, and this time I am showing you what I wore for a night out on the town with my girls! I think this is one of my favourite #jeansdujour outfits so far! When I go out for a fun night out, I usually like to wear something a bit sexy, showing just enough but not too much! Skinny jeans are perfect for this. I just pair them with a fitted top (this one's nice cause it has a bit of a shine factor as well - bling, if you will...). I think these are also my favourite plus size fashion jeans that I've tried from Addition Elle this season (if not, then they're definitely in the top three!). They actually fit like a skinny jean and are fitted all the way from the thigh to the ankle, but they're really comfortable! I got a lot of compliments on this outfit while I was out, so that made me feel even more awesome than I already did after getting ready. What do you think?
